Join an online forum for those trying to get bigger muscles. If you use the internet, and who doesn't, you would be served well by joining a group of people who are trying to gain muscle. This way you can talk about your workouts and anything else you are doing. You can get support and you can ask questions about what to do, all from the comfort of your own home.

Get a network of supporters. This can be a group of guys you meet at the gym, or an online forum full of people who are also gaining muscle. There are unique issues, questions and needs that you have to have addressed. By talking with people who are in the same position you are, you are going to feel better and understand that your muscles will come.

If you do not like the taste of fish, try eating some fish oil supplements. You will still get much of the benefits of eating whole fish; however, you will need to compensate by eating a balanced diet. This ensures you will still get everything you need for energy and the healing process.

You have to have a variety of different exercises that you participate in. If you do, you also must remember to switch up your exercises from time to time. You also need these on a chart or in a notebook or something so you have your "set plan." Therefore, as you keep track of this, you must be keeping track of the "number" of different kinds of exercises that you are doing each time.

If you're going to eat before working out, it's actually a good idea! However, you need to be sticking with your plan, and of course you don't need to have a huge meal before you work out. You could eat some protein or have a protein shake. This should be a snack, and then you should also have more protein afterward.
